Climate investment funds 2012 Partnership Forum 
The Forum will provide a unique opportunity for diverse stakeholders – governments, civil society, indigenous peoples, private sector, and others – to contribute to deepening global understanding of the linkages between climate change and development as they have been addressed within the context of the Climate Investment Funds (CIF). As all CIF programs (on clean technology, forest investments, climate resilience and scaling up renewable energy in low income countries) are moving into implementation of investments at the country level, we anticipate the Forum to be a dynamic gathering that will be focused on effective on-the-ground implementation, knowledge-building and sharing of lessons.

The Institute for Regional Development and Location Management of the European Academy of Bozen/Bolzano (EURAC) is organising on behalf of the South Tyrolean Raiffeisen federation a scientific conference, which aims to discuss the relationship between cooperatives, sustainable entrepreneurship and local and regional development. The Institute for Italian law at the University of Innsbruck, the European Research Institute on Cooperative and Social Enterprises Trento (EURICSE) and the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano support this conference as scientific partners.

Social Enterprise UK are running a conference for public bodies, commissioners and social enterprises to find out how the new Social Value Act will impact their work and what changes they will need to make to comply with it. Seniors Entrepreneurs is co-organising a conference in Brussels on “Senior Entrepreneurs and Youth Employment” with the European Union and Age Platform Europe.
The event will be opened by the Chairman of the Committee of the Regions or his representative. Max Uebe, DG Employment of the European Commission will then address the conference on the theme of "Youth employment and seniors" 
On the topic of "Youth Employment: A Challenge for the Regions and Local Authorities", four local or regional collectives will comment on their employment problems and the measures they have implemented or intend to implement to meet the employment rate of young and / or active seniors in their area. (Desired or requested Regions include Brussels, Baden Württemberg, Ile-de-France, Rhône-Alpes, Catalonia, Lombardy).

Social Innovation Tournament  Final Event
