It’s called Italian Youth Voice Award and it is an AIESEC Italy award enabling young people to choose the Italian personality that they feel represents them most.

In a time when young people look abroad for role models, AIESEC Italia decides to shine a spotlight on Italian excellence through the Italian Youth Voice Award, an award enabling young people to choose the Italian personality that they feel represents them most.
The vote can be expressed through asurvey, that will be active until 7 April 2013, on AIESEC’s Italia facebook page. The winner will be awarded on 9 May 2013 in Turin, at the Italian Youth to Business Forum, an AIESEC’s international event to foster youth entrepreneurship. Around 200 Youth to Business Forum have taken place in the world in the last 3 years, all with the common objective to give voice to young people and to their ideas.
The personalities competing for the award are: Nerio Alessandri (entrepreneur), Roberto Benigni (actor and director) , Don Luigi Ciotti (priest) , Samantha Cristoforetti (astronaut), Margherita Hack (astrophysicist), Ivan Lo Bello (entrepreneur) , Ennio Morricone (composer) , Renzo Piano (architect), Renzo Rosso (entrepreneur), Alex Zanardi (pilot).
Whether they be women, men, composers, or actors, entrepreneurs, scientists… what these personalities have in common is the value that everyone of them brings to Italy, showing the country’s ability to provide talents at international level. The aim of the award is to identify the personality that inspires youth, that person that makes young people proud to be Italian.
AIESEC Italy, which is an organization aiming at developing youth leadership operating in favor of international mobility, invites all young people to participate to the survey in order for them to be promoters of the image of Italy that they want. AIESEC Italy also invites young people to be themselves the promoters of Italy, through small but practical actions, that can make Italy a better place every day.
