The Minister of Communication together with Save the Children Italy launched a website in which young Internet surfers can find useful advices and warnings to browse safely.

It?s called ?ti6connesso?? (?Have you connected??) and it has 6 different areas: browsing, community, online video, e-shopping and sharing. Graphics (very colorful) and contents (really users-friendly) are designed to speaks directy to children. But there are also sections for teachers and parents. On ti6connesso.it you can also find an interesting surfers- non surfers dictionary where to find the meaning of the most frequent Internet words: firewalls, icq, banner and so on?This week the main topic is convergence. The frontpage is dedicated to explain how mobile, pc and tv can work together. A hard goal to achieve in understandable to children words.

Not only. There is also a section dedicated to the European campaigns on safe surfing on the Internet. In the video section, it is possible to download spots for the education to safe browsing broadcasted on Germany, Northway, Netherlands and Italy.
