Innovative school for aspiring entrepreneurs
ThinkYoung’s 2013 edition of the Entrepreneurship Summer School to be held in Brussels on 8-12 July.
ThinkYoung, the first think tank of “young Europeans for young Europeans” andGoogle, together with the European Institute of Industrial Leadership, are organizing the third edition of the Entrepreneurship Summer School (ESS), that will take place in Brussels from 8 to 12 July.
This innovative learning programme aims at fostering entrepreneurial skills and knowledge beyond the classroom. There will be no professors, academic books or lectures, simply real entrepreneurs passing on their personal experience in business directly to young aspiring entrepreneurs.
The aim is to conquer the stigma of entrepreneurial failure throughout Europe, creating a better, socially prosperous and enjoyable future for all.
The ESS offers participants the opportunity to connect and receive advise from successful entrepreneurs operating in a variety of fields. Throughout the week, groups are able to question the high profile speakers on a number of topics, enabling them to acquire valuable knowledge and gradually compose a final presentation to conclude the learning experience.
After the final presentations ThinkYoung, together with EIIL, will provide students with an “eazypreneurship guide”. This guide contains information participants highlighted as the foundation and essential principles of entrepreneurship. It ultimately provides participants an external source of information which can be used as a reference point for their projects.
On 11 July young aspiring entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to take part in a debate held in the European Parliament and to discuss and share with MEPs.
