On April 24, Portugal launched a campaign called “Voting is Easy” aimed to facilitate the youth path to the electoral polls. The campaign comes hand in hand with a concrete and practical initiative to make the act of voting as easy as possible for the young new-comers. From now onwards, 17 year olds will automatically appear on the electoral roll of their local council without having to make an effort to actually register themselves. juventude.gov.pt
