Promoting intrapreneurship and social entrepreneurship

ESADE’s Institute for Social Innovation organizes its 7th Annual Conference on 1 April 2014 in Barcelona. The Conference, with the theme “Organisations with a Social Impact: Fostering intrapreneurship and social entrepreneurship”, will highlight the talent of intrapreneurs and social entrepreneurs as drivers of innovation and social impact.
Experts and other individuals familiar with social entrepreneurship within organisations will discuss the leadership process involved in challenging the status quo in order to build a better future. This Annual Conference wants to boost the potential of these agents of change and inspire all sorts of social-impact organisations – NGOs, non-profit and for-profit companies, and social enterprises – to effectively implement it within their structures.
The Annual Conference will be attended by expert speakers in entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship, as well as impact investment, sustainable models and social networks for organizations with a social impact.
The event will feature a talk by Pamela Hartigan, Director of the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School, on the current role played by social entrepreneurship.
