An EIRS report finds CSR more developed in Europe than in the US and Japan

A report published by the Ethical Investment Research Services, global specialists in sustainable investment, has found that North American companies lag behind their European counterparts when it comes to social and environmental responsibility.
While European companies were found to have well developed responsible business practices due to the sophistication of European responsible investment markets, pressure from NGOs and a strong regulatory environment, companies in the US and Japan must still make efforts to match European levels.
