The daily Politiken has launched a campaign to gather funds to create an information centre on Iraq. The goal? Provide work for 100 Iraqi refugees who have been refused the right to stay in Denmark. They will be paid 4,300 ? a month circa, which would enable them to obtain residency rights. «If the state does not want to help, civil society will have to intervene», explained Tøger Seidenfaden of Politiken.
