Volonteurope held its first short seminar last 27 January in Brussels at the EESC. Entitled «Impact of Volunteering: Beyond GDP», it looked at volunteering as an active ingredient of the EU 2020 Strategy and the ESF Programme 2014-2020. The next Volonteurope seminar, on «Effective Mechanisms for Citizens Consultations in the EU», delivered with Humanitas, will take place in Amsterdam on 22 March 2010. www.volonteurope.de
