The world’s largest off shore wind farm was opened. With one hundred 115 meter turbines, the facility, which cost 900 million euros to build, will produce enough energy each year to power 200 thousand homes. Government targets expect Britain to generate 15% of its electricity through renewable sources by 2020, a target environmentalists have called “dismal”.
