A technology empowering non profit platform, Iwith.org, has launched a tool that aims to bring non profit organisations closer to the internet than ever before: Abcore, a system that enables NGOs worldwide to create and update their own websites with no need for specific IT training. Through Abcore, non profit organisations will be able to build their websites, create virtual campuses, manage their email accounts, manage their databases, wikis, documents and statistics as well as update their content. With no need of external support.

It all began with online training. Iwith.org was founded in 2000 in Switzerland with the aim of providing online teaching for all, including those who could but dream of university. Today Iwith.org has grown into an international organisation based in Nyon, Switzerland, and Barcelona, Spain that works with over 180 non profit organisations in four continents to promote development through communication and information technologies (Cits).

Iwith.org offers low cost consultation, technological tools, resources and support for non profit organisations. Organisations that already use the Iwith.org platform include: son la Fundación Alas para Todos, la Asociación del Sello de Productos de Comercio Justo, la Associació Catalana de Cecs i Disminuïts Visuals (ACCDV) y la Asociación Depapaya.
