According to the Prague based NGO Watchdog, the days when Chechens could come to Europe, receive political or humanitarian asylum, benefits packages and free housing, are now irrevocably over. Furthermore, many former Chechens who were granted these benefits have now had their status revoked. The reasoning behind such governmental behaviour? A more stable democracy in place?
