Spain: Batzarre chooses solidarity based economy
Batzarre will propose initiatives in a number of municipalities near Pamplona (Navarra)

Batzarre, a left-wing political party acting in the Navarra area, is committed to promoting the solidarity-based economy in several municipalities around the capital, Pamplona, to whose town councils it will submit proposals based on sustainable development in order to match the needs of both current and future generations.
The basic aim of these proposals is to combat poverty and social exclusion and to achieve that all individuals can reconcile in a balanced way areas such as employment, family, training, etc.
The key words which must guide these proposals are: equity, employment, the environment, co-operation, non-profit and local commitment.
