?The record 6,5 per cent growth in the number of workers who depend on agriculture marks is the best performance out of all the productive areas. Its contribution to the reduction of unemployment is of 31 thousand new employees, especially in the south where the sectors increase was of 9,7 per cent. This demonstrates the commitment taken against the black market and in favour of transparency.?
This is Coldiretti?s positive appraisal when commenting on the Istat statistics which reveal the lowest unemployment statistics since 1992. Coldiretti believes that the growth of employment that has taken place is the proof of the commitment that the companies that work in the agricultural sector have taken to increase transparency in work relations and against the exploitation of labour. Coldiretti points out that it is an important result that began with the involvement of all the social entities that were signatories to the common notice that represented a reference point and contains effective tools for the promotion of transparency in a sector that is fundamental to the re launching of industry ?made in italy?.
In agriculture ? highlights Coldiretti ? there has been a real boom in salaried employment, from a base of 507 thousand and indicating tendencial growth, while there has been noticeable stability in independent forms of employment which decreased by 1,2%. The final result ? concludes Coldiretti – is of 1.018.000 employed with a 2,5% increase in comparison to last year.
