Spain: new projects for an efficient use of water

These projects relate to four lines of action: drinking water and draining; agriculture; awareness-raising on water consumption; and other issues. Nine of these projects will be developed in Africa, eight in Latin America, seven in Spain and one in Asia. This latter initiative includes training courses and activities in the field of health education and responsible use of water, whilst other projects involve the labour inclusion of people in risk of social exclusion. Information on each one of the projects is summarised on a chart for prospective enterprises interested in participating in them to be able to have access to this information in a user-friendly manner. Charts include a brief project description, the total budget, the action fields, the beneficiaries, the forms of collaboration, the starting and ending dates, etc. These projects have already ensured the participation of 19 NGOs that have been selected by the Lealtad Foundation according to principles of transparency and good practice.
