- 20,2 million volunteers;
- Most likely age group to volunteer: 16-19 year olds and 35 to 49 year olds, a third of whom volunteer at least once a month;
- Men and women volunteer formally every month the same number of times (31% of women formally volunteer once a month and 27.5% of men);
- Women tend to volunteer informally more often than men (41% compared to 32%).
