A new smartphone application makes donations easier for Italian taxpayers

If you pay your taxes in Italy, making a donation to your favorite charity will be easier from now on. Italian third sector leading magazine, Vita, has developed a smartphone application that enables taxpayers to visualize the ONG tax codes necessary to the filling of the “5 per mille” forms.
“5 per mille” allows Italian taxpayers to devolve 0.005 per cent of their income tax to a charity of their choice and represents an important source of funding to thousands of Italian NGOs.
“We knew that nobody ever remembers the tax code numbers of the NGOs they want to devolve the money to, but we also knew that nowadays almost everybody has a smartphone. “ Says Enrico Morandi CEO of Vita Consulting, the division of the company that has developed the application.
As a matter of fact everybody knows full well where they want their donations to go, the problem is to remember the tax codes of their favorite NGOs. This is the reason why the new application is so useful.
The application is compatible with all of major operative systems:iOS, Android, Blackberry and WinMob7 and it is extremely easy to use since the tax codes are next to the NGOs logos.
