350 civil society representatives gather together in Moscow on June 13-14 for the Civil20, a summit to develop recommendations which are expected to influence the G20 Summit agenda
350 representatives of civil society, international organizations, businesses and mass media will gather together in Moscow on June 13-14 for the Civil20, the Civil Summit of the Group of Twenty. During the two day gathering which will take place at the President Hotel in Moscow, the participants will develop Civil20 recommendations, which are expected to influence the G20 Summit agenda and political leaders' final communiqué. Civil 20 Summit is a concluding event of the civil track under Russia’s official G20 presidency.
The civil summit was preceded by an extensive preparatory work. Within six months, experts from among the representatives of NGOs and research institutes with the involvement of the public from different countries have developed proposals which will be presented at the summit.
